Academic Motivation and Engagement: A Correlational Study of Students’ Perspective at Secondary School Level

The purpose of the quantitative correlational study was to investigate association between students' academic motivation and engagement. This included 600 10th-grade students who were selected at random from 20 secondary schools in district Lahore. data gathered using two research instruments. independent sample t-test, Pearson r, linear regression used analyze data. As r =.781 (p > 0.01), findings demonstrated a strong significant correlation result, engagement positively impacted by motivation. Academic differed significantly gender. Policy makers, teachers, scholars are advised pay particular consideration each learner's level since it affects with schoolwork.
